Emergency Care

If you are experiencing severe dental pain, gum or facial swelling or have suffered a dental trauma (knocked or lost a tooth), please contact our treatment rooms on 9444 1227 and our friendly team will organize an appointment for you to be seen as soon as possible.

If you have a crown or veneer that has come off, please wrap it carefully in something soft (such as cling wrap or tissue) and bring it with you to your appointment.

Over-the-counter pain relief such as Ibuprofen (Nurofen) can often significantly reduce toothache temporarily. Rinsing with warm salt water regularly can also help, especially if the gums are inflamed or a mild infection is present.

Chipped or broken teeth and fillings should be kept as clean as possible with gentle brushing and mouth rinsing. Avoid eating anything hard or acidic in the area until the tooth can be assessed properly by one of our dentists.
