Dr Joe Muscara

Dentist BDsc (University of WA)

Dr Joe Muscara graduated from the University Of Western Australia School Of Dentistry in 1990.

Commencing private practice in Bassendean, Joe took over the practice within 2 short years, establishing a very loyal base of thousands of patients, who he treated for over 25 years before selling his practice and moving to the Mt Hawthorn area.

Joe practices and enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but has a particular passion and talent for cosmetic dentistry including veneers and teeth straightening. He is also very experienced with CEREC CadCam treatment, which allows patients to receive full aesthetic dentistry in a single visit. Joe is a long-time member of the Australian Dental Association.

In his spare time, Joe has a keen interest in Soccer which he played semi-professionally in his younger years, dining out, playing the piano, and travelling to Italy when he can.

Dr Sarrah Omran

Dentist BDSc Hons (University of WA)

Dr Sarrah Omran graduated with first-class honours from the University of Western Australia in 2005, receiving the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Prize. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in both Anatomy & Human Biology and Physiology at UWA.

Following 2 years of work in both the WA and QLD Government Dental services gaining invaluable experience treating both adults and children, she joined Absolute Smiles in 2006, commencing her Private Practice career.

Sarrah’s compassionate, gentle and warm nature has seen her develop an established base of loyal patients. She finds it particularly rewarding to help people who suffer from dental anxiety.

Practicing a wide range of general and cosmetic dental procedures, she continuously updates her professional knowledge to ensure her patients always receive the most innovative and up-to-date dental care. Sarrah is a long-time member of the Australian Dental Association.

In her free time, Sarrah is a keen reader and enjoys discovering new restaurants, being in nature, travelling and quality time with her friends and family.

Dr Tony Strangio

Dentist BDSc (UWA), MSC (University of Frankfurt), Master of Oral Implantology

Dr Tony Strangio graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1993.

He first became involved in implant dentistry in 1996 at the Branemark Centre. He completed his primaries for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2006 and was awarded commendation. Tony completed his Master’s Degree in Oral Implantology in 2013 (Germany) and currently operates a referral-based practice in the field of oral and implant surgery, which he has maintained for over 10 years.

Dr Strangio has lectured extensively in the field of implant dentistry and was involved as a lecturer at the Oral Health Centre of WA from 2002-2004 in the field of exodontia. He also runs a local study club in the field of dental. His main passion is oral (dentialveolar) surgery and dental implants. Dr Strangio offers services under local anaesthetic and intravenous sedation and general anaesthetic.

Since then, he has been involved in the Australasian Osseointegration Society, both at the Federal and State level and has served as the President of AOS (WA branch). Tony is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Periodontology, Australian Prosthodontic Society and co-founder of the Academy of Dental Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation (ADIOR).

Dr Joseph Marino

Dentist DMD Dist. (University of WA)

Dr Joseph Marino graduated with distinction from the University of Western Australia Dental school. Prior to studying dentistry, he also completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physiology.

Joseph enjoys the variety of practicing general dentistry and thoroughly providing all aspects of dental care. He is happy to manage both simple and complex cases, with a focus on each patient’s priorities. Through his gentle and calm approach he places an emphasis on building relationships with all of his patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience. Joseph is a member of the Australian Dental Association and regularly participates in continuing professional development to ensure the highest standard of care possible.

Outside of dentistry Joseph has a passion for soccer which he plays at a semi-professional level in the NPLWA. He also loves travelling, film and music, and sharing a meal with friends and loved ones.

Doris Pringle

Oral Health Therapist (Curtin University)

Doris Pringle graduated from Curtin University School of Dental Therapy and commenced work in the School Dental Services, acting as Head of Department for 7 area clinics for over six years. Following this she entered Private Practice where she has worked for over 20 years as a dental hygienist and therapist.

Her professional, caring and gentle manner has earned her a large base of loyal patients who will follow her wherever she goes! In her downtime, Doris enjoys great coffee, spending time with her children, spoiling her 2 cats and working on her beautiful garden.

Isabella Muscara

Oral Health Therapist (Curtin University)

Isabella Muscara graduated as an Oral Health Therapist from Curtin University in 2020 and worked for the School Dental Services treating a broad range of children’s and young adult dental issues, from fillings to preventative maintenance. Commencing her private practice career at Absolute Smiles, Isabella has a friendly, bubbly personality that puts her patients at ease. In her spare time she enjoys baking, running, painting and dining out with friends.

Ines Polizzi

Oral Health Therapist (Curtin University)

Ines Polizzi Graduated in 2012 from Curtin University School of Dental Hygiene, entering Private Practice shortly after. Ines enjoys all aspects of looking after the oral hygiene of both adults and children, and is very friendly and approachable. In her spare time she is a busy mum to 3 beautiful kids, loves to read, cook and travel.
